Find the area of an equilateral triangle in which D is a point inside the triangle, which is situated from all three vertices at a distance of 3,4, 5?

this could be possible only if it is perpendicular distance from sides

Hi! First find the side of the equilateral triangle and then with the help of side we can easily find the area of required triangle.

So here is the formula given below.

If a point inside an equilateral triangle is situated at a distance of x,y and z form all three vertices respectively then
side = 2/√3(x+y+z).
So,
According to the question
side = 2/√3(3+4+5)
side = 8√3
Now,
Required area=√3/4(8√3)×(8√3)
= 48√3 Ans.
